There
is not going to be a Dubs At The Bay show for 2012, we are
however on track for 2013. The 2010 show attendance really
took the event organiers by suprise, we really did not expect
so many cars, vans and people to turn up, it was a fantastic
show and we don't want to ruin it all by putting on an ill
planned, half cocked event where we will have to shut the
main gate 20 minutes after opening again.
Dubs
At The Bay requires a lot more planning, a lot more money,
a lot of arranging and co-operation from local reglatory authorities
and Weymouth and Portland Council, as previously stated we
are on track and making some great plans for 2013, we are
talking to local businesses, camp sites and the council abut
the show and hope to make an announcement early November 2012.
Stick
with us, we WILL get it all sorted…

you to every one who come to our first Weymouth
Dubs at the Bay in 2010 - it was a great success.
Over
1000 dubs, at our busiest we had over 3000 visitors, with some great weather and
brilliant traders... Only problem, we ran out of space within 20 minutes. Massive
sorry to everyone who came, who could not get into the main show area, hope it
didn't spoil your day too much... at least we had the council parking to fall
back on. We
are currently busy looking for a bigger venue for next years event.
